Job Reintroduction
New in 2011 is a job reintroduction assistance program. Participants who have been unemployed for extended periods of time can give back to the community while becoming active, building skills, and undergoing job search assistance. Workers in the program will volunteer 2 days per week in various capacities. They will be connected to a personal job search assistant who will review their experience and make suggestions for improving their results. Additional assistance will be offered in classroom settings and one-on-one to improve interviewing skills and to help people address any remedial learning issues.
