Small business assistance
Some people have great ideas, great ambition and work ethic, and no idea how to get over the barrier to entry that exists for most start up businesses. We want to help those people. When someone comes through one of our training classes they often want to turn their new found skill into extra income. Navigating the maze of requirements and paperwork can sometimes be overwhelming.
The Opportunity Center offers many valuable services on a limited basis to new start up business. We will assist people in starting businesses that are committed to good planning, financial integrity, locating in the neighborhood, and giving back to the community. We can assist in product development, design, marketing plans, business plans, networking and many other areas that can hinder a new start up.
We also wish to network with existing businesses that would like to be a part of helping young start ups in the area through free or discounted services, professional advice, and most importantly through use of the new business as a vendor. Contact Dr. Terry Goodwin for more information.
